the second time i've attempted this drawing, the first was over a year ago, and i barely got past a few lines.this time i can call it finished, if you don't look to closely
lots and lots o hours spanning over a month with many a drawing in between, and i still can't bring myself to throw away the ref pic, roll on next year...

The lines just seethe into place, and the face comes to life in an almost disturbing way; great work from one of the 5 best pencil artists on the site...
Such a striking resemblance! And the amount of detail you've put into this just blows me away...
Christopher Walken does have an odd appearance too, which does make the picture more interesting...

This would be an awseome piece to have up on the wall. Except that it would probably make me jump if I turned on the lights in the middle of the night and didn't remember it was there. hehe.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
